Be sure to catch this amazingly talented fiddler as he strolls through Coiner Park on Saturday afternoon.

Chip Cohen has fiddled for audiences across the United States since the 1970s, performing with such artists as the Holy Modal Rounders, the Johnson Mountain Boys, Ferlin Huskey and Mitchell Shocked.

After taking classical violin lessons and playing in the school orchestra in his hometown of Silver Spring, Maryland, he traveled south to the Great Smokey Mountains where he found his calling in bluegrass and old-time fiddling.

An Oregonian since 1984, Chip currently performs around the Northwest with the Klezmonauts and the Conjugal Visitors.  In his spare time he raises pygmy weasels.
