The Western Oregon Opry is a group of gifted Cottage Grove area musicians who began playing together in 1986. Although the group is no longer together, founding members of the group reunited last year to celebrate BMD’s 50th Anniversary and played for the Golden Anniversary Reception.

Breaking the Sound Barrier Deaf Choir won the Lane County Cultural Arts Grant for 2010.  The group has performed most recently at the Disability Megaconference at the Hilton Hotel and the Kauffman Senior Center in Eugene.
