Aircraft Club Fly-In

Oregon Antique & Classic Aircraft Club Fly-In

The Oregon Aviation Historical Society hosts the Oregon Antique & Classic Aircraft Club Annual Fly-in on Saturday, July 15 from 1-5 p.m. The Oregon Aviation History Center is located at 2475 Jim Wright Way (across from the Cottage Theatre).  

The OACAC has their annual meeting at 3 pm, after which Robin Reid will talk about some of the test flights he has made.  The presentation is open to the public at no charge, and there will be a “pizza feed” at 5:30!

The Oregon Aviation Historical Society’s Museum will be open for tours during BMD.

The Cottage Grove Jogging Club brings back a BMD tradition from the past…

Start and Finish Washington and 6th, Friday July 14th at 9:00 PM.

GOLD RUSH (5k)

The Gold Rush is a twilight 5k run or walk through lovely Cottage Grove. It starts in the center of town and travels to Main Street and then to River Road, along the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and where Buster Keaton shot some of his famous silent film "The General." The start and finish are located near places to find great food and drink to celebrate your run. Dig it! Registration includes drink ticket for Brew Station and glowstick fun!

A fun run for kids prior to the start of the Grand Miners Parade.

Jay the Magician

BMD welcomes back local magician, Jay Frasier  for his fourth appearance at the festival.  

This accomplished magician performs at schools, libraries, county fairs, and at personal and corporate events throughout the Pacific Northwest.

He is best known for his engaging way of making magic funny, entertaining and interactive for all ages, through close-up magic or in stage shows.

On Saturday, Jay performs on the Main Stage at 3:30 p.m. and will spend the day roaming around Bohemia City delighting and astonishing festival-goers with his close-up magic tricks.

The Prospectors & Golddiggers Club owns and maintains the historic Dr. Snapp House on South River Road, originally built in Slabtown in 1886. During Bohemia Mining Days the house will be open for tours led by Victorian-dressed members of the club. Learn More.
