Carnival: The carnival offers rides, games and food in Bohemia Park.  Advance Ride Bracelets are $22 by July 19th at Cottage Grove Bi-Mart & Scarpelli’s Short Stop.  All-Day Ride Bracelets are $30.  Unlimited ride bracelets valid from opening to one hour before closing time.  Individual ride tickets can be purchased, with most rides requiring multiple tickets per ride.  Carnival hours: Thursday: 3:00 - 10:00 p.m., Friday: 2:00 - 10:00 p.m., Saturday: 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth: BMD welcomes back Cowboy Buck and Elizabeth to the Main Stage for their 18th year performing at the festival.  Their songs and skits brighten up each audience by creating enthusiastic audience participation through song and dance, hand movements, and laughter.  Main Stage performances Thursday - Saturday (see schedule for times).

Helena Saloon: Back by popular demand for the under-21 crowd, the famous Helena Saloon returns to offer free root beer served up by their peers. Enjoy playing cards and doing simple crafts.

Jay the Magician: Kids of all ages will enjoy Jay performs magic all day on Saturday in Bohemia City delighting and astonishing festival-goers with his close-up magic tricks.  Catch his illusion show on the Main Stage, Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Kiddie Parade: A BMD favorite for 59 years! Friday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. at CG Community Center.  Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.  Route through Historic Downtown.  Participants get ribbon & ice cream at the end. FREE (no entry fee).

Kids' Zone: We have an amazing interactive 7,000 square foot Kids' Zone with an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Living History: See the antique hit-and-miss engine display.  Become a gold miner and pan for REAL gold with real miners!  Hop aboard one of our Covered Bridge Tours on Saturday afternoon.  Participate in our Historical Treasure Hunt to learn more about our town’s history.  All completed maps will be entered in a $100 daily cash drawing.  Bohemia City Players’ Theme Play tells three colorful stories from Cottage Grove’s past.

Pony Rides: Kids love riding these sweet, gentle ponies. Get your camera phones ready to capture their smiles and preserve the memory. Cost: $7 per ride.

Rock Climbing Wall: Test your climbing ability with three levels of difficulty from novice to expert.  A $100 bill is given to any climber who reaches the top of the most difficult side.  Cost: $8 for 1 climb and $12 for two climbs.

Slabtown versus Lemati Feud Contest: Returning for the seventh year, this ongoing competition is pure old-fashioned fun for children and adults.  Last year Slabtowners won the competition by a very thin margin.  Lematians have vowed to claim a victory this year.  Check the BMD website or Bohemia Nugget Guide for details on how to join in the fun or visit the Feud HQ Booth, Thursday through Saturday.

Train Rides: The BMD Express is a free time-traveling train providing free rides to travel back in time and visit museums, covered bridges, and the Victorian home of the town’s first doctor.  There’s lots to see and do with all attractions within easy walking distances from train stops and within a geographic area that's significantly smaller than a Disneyland theme park.

Zip Line: The 300-foot long Zip Line sails you across the Bohemia Park fountain.  Be brave.  Face your fears.  Challenge your friends.  Cost: $12 per ride.

Hosanna Youth Performers

Hosanna Youth Performers is a group of dancers (ages 12-19) who desire to glorify God by sharing their love of dance throughout the community. They meet weekly to rehearse, study the Bible, and pray.  Tiese Morgan directs.
