Cottage Grove Historical Museum

Travel back in time by including a visit to the Cottage Grove Museum as part of your Bohemia Mining Days experience this year.

For the past 50+ years, historically minded residents have volunteered countless hours to collect, catalog, and display a wide variety of artifacts that depict Cottage Grove’s interesting and colorful history.

Plan on a visit to see portraits & pictures from the 1800 and early 1900’s as well as antique mining and logging equipment. On display now are newly unpacked vintage clothing including bloomers, wedding outfits and a genuine, beaver fur top hat.  One of the most popular attractions is a coat worn by a local resident who survived the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.  (Note: The famous coat is on loan to another museum so it won't be on display during BMD this year, however the story is there to read and enjoy.)

You won’t want to miss this wonderful collection of Cottage Grove memorabilia.

Cost: Free admission and donations are welcome.
