Costumed Tour Guides Outside of Tour Bus

Covered Bridge
Tours

Cottage Grove is considered the covered bridge capitol of Oregon, and for good reason.  Our small town is home to 6 covered bridges, including the only covered railroad bridge west of the Mississippi River.  Now you have the opportunity to see all of them in a fun and unique way.

Bohemia Mining Days, in a partnership with South Lane Wheels and the Covered Bridge Tour Guides, offers tours of these covered bridges during the festival.  As you ride through the countryside in air conditioned comfort, knowledgeable tour guides, dressed in clothing from the period, will explain the history of each bridge and how they played a role in the creation of our little town.

The bus will stop at selected bridges to allow for photographs to be taken.  Bathroom facilities are limited along the route so plan accordingly.

Each two-hour tour departs and returns to the Bohemia City Train Station at the south end of Coiner Park's west parking lot.  Please check in 15 minutes prior to departure.  After that time, any unclaimed seats may be re-sold.

Seating is limited and tickets sell out fast, so invite a favorite person and purchase your tickets while supplies last.  If there is a demand, a third tour will be scheduled from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Service animals are welcome if they are well-behaved and serve a specific purpose.

Please note there is limited space for walkers & wheelchairs on each tour.  Call Cindy at 541-942-5064 prior to ticket purchase to ensure those spaces are not taken.

Tickets

Tickets for the Covered Bridge Tours are available from Monday, June 24th to Wednesday, July 17th for $10/person, at The Bookmine, 702 E. Main St.  Tickets will also be available at Bohemia City Hall (aka Info Booth) during the event.
